About Gary
A 25 year health and safety veteran, Gary joined The HSQE Partnership in 2023, taking on the position of Principal Health and Safety Consultant. Bringing a huge bank of compliance, ISO auditing and general construction safety experience to the table, over the years he’s supported the delivery of a wide variety of high profile and challenging construction schemes.
Highly regarded and exceptionally well qualified, Gary is not only a Chartered Member of IOSH, he also holds an MSc and two separate advanced diplomas in occupational health and safety.
A key appointment for the business, Gary’s role is instrumental in driving the business forward, exploring new opportunities, and further boosting the quality and depth of service enjoyed by our clients.
Key responsibilities
- Acting as the health and safety lead on the technical delivery of our services and products
- Developing and delivering business improvement strategies
- Developing cutting-edge initiatives and innovations to drive health, safety and wellbeing improvements
- Developing safety leadership and behavioural based safety and cultural change programmes
- Auditing, developing and implementing management systems
- Carrying out CDM assurance and compliance monitoring
- Supporting organisations through key accreditations such as Network Rail PCL, RISQS, SSIP, ISO and UVDB
- Developing and mentoring our health and safety team
- Supporting the preparation of tender submissions
