About Emma
A graduate member of IOSH and IEMA with a degree in environmental management, Emma enrolled in The HSQE Partnership’s Apprenticeship Programme in 2021, rising to the position of Trainee Health and Safety Consultant just two years later. A fantastic addition to the team, in the short time she’s been with us, she’s already made a significant impact, impressing her colleagues with her diligence, flexibility and willingness to learn.
Key responsibilities
- Adhering to, and promoting, all required health, safety and welfare policies that are established by the company
- Assisting with the management of the company’s approved management systems
- Providing support with third party group site audits and inspections
- Providing support and advice to team members on environmental and management system issues
- Conducting internal audits and inspections of manufacturing processes, business departments and resolution tracking
- Developing and maintaining procedures for environmental health and safety management, supporting both the planning and implementation processes
- The administration of computer and database systems, including the maintenance of records and the preparation of documents for issue
- Supporting and participating in environmental health and safety activities, including risk identification and management
